Aspiring Leaders Programme

Day 4 of 4

The programme consists of four face-to-face training days related to leadership of a Catholic school, together with the completion of a school-based project to enhance the Catholic life/Religious Education in your school.  It also involves a visit to another Catholic school to evaluate the leadership characteristics and leadership strategies needed to successfully lead a Catholic school.

The aim of the course is to:

• develop an insight into the complexities of leading a Catholic school;
• identify and develop the necessary skills required for senior leadership positions;
• develop strategic planning through the leading of a whole school development project;
• support the process of succession planning

Those interested must acquire support and be recommended by their Headteacher who should complete a Declaration of Interest for Applicants form, which can be downloaded from here 

N.B.  Failure to complete the full course will still incur the full costs
