Target Audience: Members of chaplaincy teams (Initially a maximum of 10 per school).
During both days Bishop Declan will commission pupil members of chaplaincy teams for the coming year. New members of chaplaincy teams will be presented with their badges. It is an opportunity for pupils to come together and share what they do.
Primary schools: Schools in attendance at the Cathedral will receive a chaplaincy training pack to take back to the school, filled with activities for chaplains and ideas for chaplaincy events the school can put in place for the school year ahead.
If your primary school is unable to attend the service at the Cathedral for cost reasons, please let the Diocese know as soon as possible. It is open to your school to celebrate a commissioning event locally with your partnership schools if necessary. We can arrange to provide your school with a draft service, certificates, badges and a chaplaincy training pack.
£30 per school to cover the cost of toilets and stewards.
