This session is to support both new and experienced Clerks, Governance Leads / Professionals in their role. It focuses on the particular requirements of clerking at a Catholic school / trust.

Aims of the Training

To:

• provide an understanding of the particular requirements of clerking at a Catholic school/trust.
• provide an understanding of the purpose of Catholic education;
• understand the role of the foundation governor;
• understand the legislation relating to managing a Catholic school/trust and support the clerking of the governing body of your school.

There is an expectation that all clerks will regularly undertake this training.

The cost of this training will be charged to your school.
