October 7th is the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary and the month of October is traditionally the month of the rosary. Our Lady encouraged people to say the Rosary when appeared to them, promising her special protection and the greatest graces. Saint Francis de Sales said that the greatest method of praying is to pray the Rosary.
