Twenty-five Catholic Primary schools gathered at Clifton Cathedral for the Primary Chaplaincy Commissioning Mass on Friday 8th November. During the Mass the pupils are commissioned by Bishop Bosco and given special chaplaincy badges. The pupils then help organise prayers, raise money for charities and encourage others to follow the Catholic life and mission in their schools. The choir and orchestra from St John’s Catholic Primary in Trowbridge provided exquisite music throughout the Mass. Children from St John’s Catholic Primary in Bath reading the readings beautifully and children from Holy Family Catholic Primary in Swindon took the gifts to the altar. The children enjoyed meeting Bishop Bosco after the Mass.
